Extreme Tennis Makeover is a program designed by La Costa tennis director, Mike Casey, to help you advance to the next level by using Video Replay of your strokes, footwork and strategy. When you participate in this program, La Costa tennis pro Mike Casey will show you how to make major changes to your present swings and create new ways to construct the new you on the court.

The first step in this procedure is to videotape your current swings on the tennis court and then bring you into the classroom to relax and view how you see yourself hitting the ball. Then, Mike will break down your strokes and explain how he will start to implement the extreme makeover corrections. You will then go back and forth several times from the court to the classroom, each time video taping the new adjustments. Before long, you will start to see and feel the difference in your strokes and footwork in a short amount of time, allowing you to advance to the next level with new and exciting changes.

Extreme Tennis Makeover has been very successful with students of all levels and ages. Nike Junior Tennis Camp - Athens Ohio

The all-American campus of Ohio University provides a truly great setting for this Nike Tennis Camp. The University's outstanding facilities include: Indoor and Outdoor courts, a world-class recreation center, air-conditioned dorms, and award winning food service.

Off court activities include movie night, miniature golf, and swimming.

Steve Contardi, Ray Reppert, and Mario Contardi will co-direct the live- in camp. Together they bring over 60 years of tennis teaching excellence to this unique camp program.

Steve Contardi is the founder of the Contardi Tennis Camps, and the Director of Tennis at The Club at Harper's Point in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is also the former director of the world famous Nick Bollettieri Tennis Camps.

Ray Reppert is currently the Director of Tennis at Riverside Racquet Club in Cincinnat, Ohio. He is the former coach of the women's tennis team at Miami University and has directed camps throughout the United States, including the legendary Harry Hopman Camps.

Mario Contardi, a teaching pro at The Club at Harper's Point, is one of Ohio's top high school tennis coaches and a former Miami University and University of Virginia player. He is in his 8th year as co-director of Nike Tennis Camps. Steve, Ray, and Mario will make this a unique tennis experience you won't want to miss.

Accommodations will be in one or two bedroom condominiums or a courtside room.

How many courts are at the Ranch?

The ranch has 24 laykold and 4 Har-tru courts. 8 lighted and 4 all-weather covered courts guarantee tennis every day.

What other facilities does the ranch include?

Adjacent to the tennis courts are the refreshing pool and Jacuzzi spa for guests to relax after a long day of hard tennis.

A few steps from the pool is the main lodge with its dining rooms, outdoor barbecue and banquet area, lounge and bar, conference center and The Newcombe Pro Shop. The ranch facilities cater to the enthusiast who wants to enjoy a fun-filled, memorable tennis vacation.
